12 Days at 31 S. Meridian, Indianapolis

A time-lapse video showing 12 different days. The images were shot by a computer that was part of a public art installation, Timed-Exposure, in a window in downtown Indianapolis.

"Picture Windows: Urban Interpretations" was created by Public Art Indianapolis to revitalize office and storefront windows in high traffic downtown areas by commissioning local artists to create specific artwork for each window. Besides enlivening windows and buildings, the project was designed to contribute to the vitality of downtown Indianapolis while exposing visitors and citizens to the diverse work of local artists. Originally slated to begin in 2006, the program received a jump-start in late-2005 when proposals for the project met with enthusiastic support from building owners.
